It is not very often that real estate moguls become rising stars in fashion design, but New York entrepreneur Avi Oster has been making waves in the fashion industry and various other media in addition to his highly successful Oster Properties venture. Since his arrival in New York Mr. Oster has grown very successful through his real estate business by purchasing and developing shopping plazas, residential buildings and business centers across the tri-state region, yet properties and development ultimately became only the tip of the iceberg that would become the Oster empire.

Mr. Oster initially gained notoriety for dedicating Oster Properties to work on sites with unique designs in addition to the standard profit generating ventures such as shopping complexes and industrial sites, and that touch of flair has served him well. In the years since Avi Oster first began working in New York he has set his sights on numerous creative endeavors in addition to his real estate business, eventually establishing a notable reputation in both the fashion and media industries that has allowed him to create quite a stir amongst the New York social scene.

One may think that the combination of real estate, fashion and media to be particularly odd at first glance, but the combination of resources and networks have allowed Mr. Oster to host several very influential events in just the past year alone. A collaborative project with Nolcha Fashion Week was only the beginning, soon to be followed with the Southern Crawl event to showcase the re-launch of Catherine Fulmer’s Fall 2011 Collection. In keeping with Oster’s eclectic tastes and connections, the fashion was only one aspect of the evening; the event was also used to help showcase the music and entertainment of several other up-and-coming artists. Not to be outdone by a fashion show, Oster also recruited the talents of two different Grammy winning artists, Estelle and Ne-Yo, to help host the intimate 360 Induced event promoting Estelle’s new All of Me Foundation to support inner city youth.

With so many charities and emerging talents to promote through these events it is a wonder that Oster manages to find time to attend to his three businesses at all.
